Going Green

Going Green. It is all the rage. It's in the newspaper, it is on the
news. But what is it.

It is doing everything you can as a person and a business to help
you community and your planet be as environmentally friendly and
sustainable as possible.

At Cambrian Plaza Dry Cleaners we strive to be as environmentally
sensitive as possible. That is why we chose Green Earth for our
dry cleaning. It has no hydrocarbons. It does not use harsh
chemicals such as Glycol Ether. It does not release carbon dioxide
to the atmosphere.

Our laundry and wet cleaning procedures are designed to use as
little energy and water as possible. Our soaps are degradable, and
do no damage to the water supply.

We now can offer biodegradable bags for your clothing. These bags
are completely biodegradable and 100% recyclable! While not yet
available for all uses, they can protect 90% of your garments
without harming the environment.
Also new, are our hangers. Again they are not yet suitable for all
garments, but we use them for everything we can. Made out of
100% recycled materials, and 100% recyclable, it is another way
to stop downstream waste from damaging the environment.

And of course there are our GO GREEN garment bags. Reusable
bags to bring in your dirty cleaning, they convert to a garment bag
to take it back home. Go Green bags are also cleaned each and
